SRJC Foundation Receives Multiple National Awards for Educational Fundraising

August 27, 2018, Santa Rosa, CA – The Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation has been recognized with several 2018 Educational Fundraising Awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), an international membership association serving educational institutions and advancement professionals. The awards are presented each year to superior fundraising programs at educational institutions across the country.

The SRJC Foundation has been recognized in the following categories:

2018 Sustained Excellence Educational Fundraising

  • The SRJC Foundation was one of just seven community college foundations in the nation, and one of only two in California, to receive this award
  • Thirty-eight public and private colleges and universities across the nation were recognized with this honor

Overall Performance – Public 2-year Institutions

  • The SRJC Foundation was one of only two in California to be recognized
  • Just six institutions across the nation received this award

Overall Improvement – Public 2-year Institutions

  • The SRJC Foundation was the only college foundation in California recognized among the seven winners nationwide

Judges selected winners from among 507 colleges and universities based on many factors, such as the pattern of growth, overall breadth in program areas, evaluation of what contributed to total support, and impact of the 12 largest gifts.
