Standing with our community affected by wildfire

As our community once again faces destructive wild fires, I want to express support for those affected by the 13-4 fire in Northwest Sonoma County and the Hennessey fire in Napa County. We are all too familiar with evacuations and the dangers of such fires. To those who live in these areas, I want you to know that SRJC stands with you.

At this time, all SRJC sites are unaffected and all remote and on-site operations will continue as planned. We have also sent dedicated members of our SRJC Police department to provide mutual aid to the brave first responders on the front lines.

Our top priority is the safety of our employees, students and community members, so please take care of yourself and your families first, before worrying about work or class. Additional guidance is available for employees and students who are unable to work or attend class due to power outages.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide additional updates as we learn more. More information is available at https://socoemergency.org/.

Be safe,
